Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, has been identified in an NYT report as 55-year-old British computer scientist Adam Back. Nakamoto, whose identity has remained unknown for 17 years, is estimated to be worth over $70 billion. Back denied the claim, saying he is not Satoshi but was an early advocate of cryptography and electronic cash.
