The Milky Way's central gamma-ray glow could originate from dark matter particles colliding at the galaxy's core, a study in Physical Review Letters stated. When scientists modelled realistic dark matter interactions, their simulations matched Fermi Telescope gamma-ray maps. This alignment strengthens the possibility that the glow is the first observable evidence of dark matter.
