3I/ATLAS, the third-ever interstellar object detected in our solar system, is hurtling through space at a speed of 2,21,000 kmph, according to NASA. Its speed will increase as it approaches the Sun, NASA added. Observations of the comet's trajectory show that it is moving too fast to be bound by the Sun's gravity, it further said.
