A group of new accounts on prediction trading platform Polymarket made $170 million (approximately ₹1,574 crore) by betting 'Yes' on whether Donald Trump would announce a US-Iran ceasefire, AP reported. A trader placed ₹66-lakh bets about 10 hours before the announcement and made ₹1.85 crore, marking 180% returns. Another made ₹45 lakh by placing ₹29-lakh bets 12 minutes before announcement.
