Mysuru's 140-year-old Chikka Gadiyara to be restored by HMT

Mysuru's iconic Chikka Gadiyara, also known as the Dufferin Clock Tower, will be restored by Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) using CSR funds. The nearly 140-year-old landmark has been silent for decades, with its clock machinery requiring repairs and replacement parts. The Mysuru City Corporation will procure rare and costly components needed to restore the historic clock and its chimes.
