Calif security researchers revealed that Anthropic's Claude Mythos helped them break into Apple's most advanced M5 chip on macOS in just five days. Claiming it was the first public macOS kernel memory corruption exploit on M5, researchers said the exploit could help access and control a MacBook. According to reports, breaking into the billion-dollar chip cost the researchers just $35,000.
