Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran has been appointed as the Chairman of Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF), the ET reported. Late industrialist Ratan Tata set up RTEF for philanthropic purposes. Tata wanted Chandrasekaran to lead RTEF, the report said, adding that the latter will soon formalise a management structure and a team to run the foundation.
