North Korea's nuclear technology is better than that of Pakistan, father of Pakistan's nuclear programme Abdul Qadir Khan has said. He added that North Korea was a self-reliant nuclear power because of its highly qualified scientists, most of whom studied in Russia. Khan denied reports that Pakistan had assisted the reclusive nation with its recently conducted nuclear test.
