Nadal becomes oldest French Open men's singles champ, clinches his 22nd Grand Slam title

Ex-world number one Rafael Nadal defeated world number eight Casper Ruud 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 in the Roland Garros 2022 final to win the French Open for a record-extending 14th time. With this, Nadal became the oldest player to win French Open men's singles title aged 36. The Spaniard has now won a record-extending 22 Grand Slam titles.
