Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the redevelopment of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur will strengthen connectivity, trade and logistics while driving economic growth in Vidarbha. The airport was formally handed over to GMR Airports for modernisation under a PPP model. The project is expected to enhance passenger and cargo capacity and position Nagpur as a key logistics hub.
