India has made public the names of six bravehearts who were killed in action during Operation Sindoor against Pakistan in May 2025. They are Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, Rifleman Sunil Kumar, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, Agniveer Mood Murali Naik, Havildar Sunil Kumar Singh and Sergeant Surendra Kumar. Their names will be engraved on special bricks at the National War Memorial.
