Ruben Trumpelmann and David Wiese shared a 70-run stand against UAE in a T20 World Cup 2022 first round match to set the record. The previous record was held by England's Moeen Ali and David Willey, who shared a 57*-run stand against Afghanistan in 2016 edition.
