The much-awaited expansion of the Namma Metro network from Bengaluru to Tumakuru is moving closer to reality. The proposed 56.6 km line, which will feature 26 new stations, is part of a long-term vision to improve connectivity between the capital city and the fast-developing Tumakuru region. The extension is expected to reduce traffic congestion on the Tumakuru-Bengaluru route.
