Namrata S Hosmath, 24, from Bengaluru, becomes Karnataka's youngest civil judge, surpassing Anil John Sequeira, 25. Selected in a group of 33, Hosmath's achievement follows her first-attempt success in the Karnataka Civil Judge exam. Currently serving as Law Clerk and Research Assistant in the Karnataka High Court under Honorable Justice Dr. HB Prabhakar Shastri.
