Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy defended his calls for 70-hour work week, saying that "young people must work hard towards making India number one". Murthy said, "We've to set our aspirations high because 800 million Indians get free ration...That means 800 million Indians are in poverty." He added, "If we're not in a position to work hard, then who'll work hard?"
