NASA will soon launch a telescope that could possibly find extraterrestrial life by 2050. Currently called Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO), the telescope will aim at detecting a 'wide variety of biosignatures' emitted by living organisms after its launch in 2040. NASA's team has identified 25 Earth-like planets which are potential candidates for further exploration.
