NASA detects signs of water on distant 'warm Neptune'

A NASA study found that a distant Neptune-sized planet has a "strong water signature". Further, researchers determined the exoplanet had a primitive atmosphere clear of clouds and composed mostly of hydrogen and helium. Researchers detected gases from wavelength-absorption data of transits, events when the planet crosses in front of its host star.
