NASA discovers 11,000-foot ice mountains on Pluto's Moon Nix
short by Disha Jana / on Wednesday 2 April, 2025
NASA’' New Horizons spacecraft has identified 11,000-foot ice mountains on Pluto's moon Nix. The mountains, composed of pure ice, remain solid like rock due to the extreme cold. The discovery was captured from 37,000 miles away.
