NASA, ISRO to jointly make most expensive imaging satellite

US and Indian space agencies, NASA and ISRO will jointly develop and launch the world's biggest and most expensive earth imaging satellite, costing $1.5 billion. The satellite has been named NISAR - NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar. The radars on the satellite will take snapshots of the earth every week, helping scientists study changes in climate and environment.
