NASA launches Nancy Grace telescope to search for alien worlds

NASA has launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket from Florida. Now en route to the L2 Lagrange point, the wide-field infrared observatory will conduct massive cosmic surveys to unravel the mysteries of dark matter and dark energy and search for alien worlds. The mission aims to release its first images in early 2027.
