Using NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers have identified Cloud-9, a new type of astronomical object, Reionisation-Limited H I Cloud (RELHICs). This starless, gas-rich object is dominated by dark matter and made of neutral hydrogen. Considered a fossil from early universe, it supports long-standing theories about dark matter's role during cosmic reionisation in galaxy formation.
