National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) dropped a photograph of South Africa's Orange River as seen from space. The picture features a deep blue streak that marks the river with orange-red dunes, part of the southern Kalahari Desert surrounding it. A few small roads and settlements are also barely visible in various places in the picture.
