NASA shared a picture showing plumes from Popocatépetl volcano, one of Mexico's most active volcanoes, on Monday. The image was acquired by Landsat 8 on April 14. The monitoring systems detected water vapour, volcanic gases and ash coming from the volcano, NASA stated. The plumes from the volcano rose as high as 7.3 kilometres, NASA added.
