NASA has shared some stunning pictures of the surface of Mars showing possible signs that water may have once existed on the planet. The pictures taken over a period of 20 years by Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter showed breathtaking visuals of the Martian surface. NASA stated that these pictures will "help us when future astronauts land on Mars to explore it".
