World's second-largest travel firm, China-based Ctrip has announced it is buying Naspers' entire stake in Gurugram-based MakeMyTrip for an undisclosed amount. Ctrip will own around 49% of MakeMyTrip's total voting rights, whereas Naspers, South Africa's largest conglomerate by market value, will own 5.6% of Ctrip after the deal. Ctrip and Naspers had put $330 million into MakeMyTrip in 2017.
