The baton of the star batter in Test cricket has switched hands over the years. While the first genuine batting superstar of the country was Sunil Gavaskar, he passed on the baton to Sachin Tendulkar, who passed it to Virat Kohli. Former England captain Nasser Hussain predicted that Shubman Gill will carry the baton forward from Kohli. Hussain picked the batter on the basis of his skills.
