National Film Award-winning actor Salim Kumar has been hospitalised in Kochi following a sudden health emergency on Saturday. The 56-year-old Malayalam star has been placed on ventilator support in the ICU. For the past several years, Salim has battled severe liver-related health complications, including liver cirrhosis for which he underwent a liver transplant.
