Navi Mumbai to get India’s second-largest cricket stadium with 1 lakh capacity

The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has begun process of acquiring land to build its new stadium in Navi Mumbai, which will have a capacity of 1,00,000. It'll be the second-largest cricket stadium in India after Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In May 2025, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis promised to allot land to MCA where they can build a 1,00,000-seater stadium.
