A 40-year-old woman from Navi Mumbai lost nearly ₹7 lakh after sharing her one-time password (OTP) 28 times with a fraudster. The incident occurred between May 17 and 23 when she received a call from the fraudster who claimed to be an SBI manager. She learnt that nobody from the bank called her when she went to update her passbook.
