Navigation-assisted brain tumour surgery in Ahilyanagar

A 42-year-old farmer underwent Ahilyanagar's first navigation-assisted brain tumour surgery at Saideep Sahyadri Hospital. Doctors removed a 3*2 cm tumour near the brain's motor centre through a 12-mm keyhole opening. The 90-minute surgery was successful, with no paralysis or post-operative seizures. He was discharged after three days and is expected to resume routine activities soon.
