The National Conference (NC) and the Congress on Wednesday announced an alliance in Jammu and Kashmir for the Lok Sabha polls. The Congress will contest the Jammu and Udhampur seats while NC will contest from Srinagar, Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and NC President Farooq Abdullah said. There'll be a "friendly contest" on the Anantnag and Baramulla seats, they added.
