NCBI finds aluminum’s role in Alzheimer’s inconclusive
short by / on Thursday, 18 September, 2025
NCBI research indicates that aluminum's role in Alzheimer's remains inconclusive. While toxic in high doses, there is no definitive causal link between normal environmental exposure and disease initiation. Aluminum may contribute to progression in already affected individuals, but genetic, cognitive, and other environmental factors play stronger roles in Alzheimer’s pathophysiology.
