National Cooperative Consumers' Federation of India (NCCF) sold 560 tonnes of tomatoes at a subsidised rate in Delhi, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh from July 14-28. It had begun selling tomatoes at ₹90/kg and later reduced the price to ₹70/kg. "We are going to expand the online sale of tomatoes...The delivery is done...free of cost," NCCF MD Anice Joseph Chandra said.
