NCERT launches AI module for Classes 9–12

NCERT has released a 20-hour activity-based module on AI and computational thinking for Classes 9 to 12, developed with IIT Madras and IIT Jodhpur faculty. Covering five units — including deepfakes, data privacy, and prompt use — it aligns with NEP 2020 and targets students with no prior AI knowledge, promoting responsible, critical use over rote learning.
