National Commission for Women's Chairperson Rekha Sharma has written to Uttar Pradesh DGP to take immediate action against former CM Akhilesh Yadav for his tweet against suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. After the Supreme Court said that Sharma should apologise for her remarks against Prophet Muhammad, Yadav tweeted, "Not only the face, but the body should also apologise."
