Neanderthals ate outsiders, especially women and children: Study

A study has found that Neanderthals, an extinct group of archaic humans, hunted and consumed people from outside their own group, selectively targeting women and children. Researchers examined remains dating back 41,000-45,000 years, which showed cut marks and signs of processing, similar to how Neanderthals prepared animal prey. The bones were broken to extract nutrient-rich marrow.
