Neanderthals organised their living spaces like modern humans, a study stated. Researchers analysing Neanderthal and Homo Sapiens' spaces found common patterns between the two. Both groups structured their areas with distinct high and low-intensity activity zones, and planned their space usage similarly, like positioning inner hearths and maintaining refuse pits across different occupation level.
