Nearly 36 million people in Europe may have developed symptoms of long COVID over the three years of the pandemic, World Health Organization's (WHO) European office said on Tuesday. WHO official Hans Kluge stated "long COVID remains a complex condition" at a meeting in Copenhagen. COVID-19 is responsible for over 1,000 deaths per week in European region, as per WHO.
