Around 49% of Gen Z job seekers in India have nearly fallen for a job scam, compared to 36% among Gen X professionals, the LinkedIn Job Search Safety Pulse 2026 survey found. This makes Gen Z the most vulnerable group. According to the report, 82% of Indian professionals now pause to evaluate the legitimacy of a job posting before applying.
