Neelakurinji flowers bloom 4 years early in Karnataka

Rare Neelakurinji flowers have bloomed in Karnataka's Kudremukh in 2026, four years ahead of the expected 2030 bloom. The flowers have appeared over the past month across the Shola grasslands of Gangadikallu, Chittegudda and Kudremukh. The unusual early flowering has attracted nature enthusiasts, while experts are studying the possible reasons behind the unexpected appearance in the Western Ghats.
