Neeraj Chopra misses Lausanne Diamond League title by 0.09 metres

Two-time Olympic medal-winning javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra missed the Lausanne Diamond League 2026 title by just 0.09 metres. He finished second with a season-best throw of 88.05 metres. Sri Lanka's Rumesh Pathirage won the title with 88.14 metres, recorded in his third attempt. Grenada's Anderson Peters finished third with a throw of 86.69 metres.
