NEET to remain pen-and-paper exam, computer test unlikely before 2028: Report

NEET-UG will continue as pen-and-paper test format in 2027 and computer-based testing (CBT) is unlikely before 2028, Hindustan Times reported quoting sources. It added that the Centre extended the Nandan Nilekani-led examination reform task force's tenure till January 2027. "The [task force]...will take time to prepare its report and finalise it for submission to the government," the source added.
