Neeva, a privacy-focused search engine started in 2019 by IITians Sridhar Ramaswamy and Vivek Raghunathan after leaving their jobs at Google, is shutting down. "Building search engines is hard," the Co-founders said in a blog post, adding that getting people to try a new search engine was a "difficult problem". Neeva was once considered a potential competitor to Google Search.
