Reacting to stampede during Rath Yatra in Odisha's Puri, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday criticised the Odisha government, saying, "The negligence and mismanagement that led to this tragedy are inexcusable." He added, "This tragedy follows reports of 500 devotees being injured on Friday during the yatra." At least three people were killed and many others injured in the stampede.
