After Prime Minister Narendra Modi became India's longest-serving elected PM on Wednesday, Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi claimed that former PM Jawaharlal Nehru remains India's longest-serving PM. "India didn't come into existence on January 26, 1950...our national journey as an independent nation began on August 15, 1947," he posted on X. Notably, Nehru was not an elected PM before 1950.
