A man in his 50s was mauled to death by his neighbour's pet Pitbull in Chennai's Jafferkhanpet area on Tuesday. According to the police, the Pitbull, owned by a woman named Poongodi, was not leashed when it lunged at the victim. The owner also reportedly suffered bite injuries while trying to restrain the dog.
