North East India Tourism Confederation signed an MoU with Association of Buddhist Tour Operators to promote Buddhist tourism across the Northeast. The pact aims to improve global access, highlight lesser-known sites in Arunachal Pradesh and beyond, and position the region on the international Buddhist tourism circuit.
