Amid a rise in rape cases, Nepal has announced a ban on porn sites in the country. Such websites promote sexual violence and perversion, the government said. Citing laws that ban the exchange, publication and broadcast of any indecent material, the Nepalese government has directed the telecommunications regulator to implement the order with immediate effect.
