Nepal extends ban on int'l flights till May 31 amid COVID-19 surge

Nepal has extended a ban on international flights until May 31 amid rising coronavirus cases in the country, the Civil Aviation Authority said on Tuesday. However, two weekly flights on the Kathmandu-Delhi sector will remain operational under an air bubble arrangement between Nepal and India, it added. The country had suspended all international flights from May 6 midnight.
