Nepal floods: 1,344 dead, India-Nepal launch joint rescue ops

At least 1,344 people have died in Nepal's catastrophic Bhote Koshi floods. The Nepalese Army deployed 20 helicopters and constructed rope bridges in Nuwakot to reach cut-off communities. India is assisting with tunnel rescue operations at Chilime, draining water and digging deeper, while Indian medical teams held health camps for local residents in Rasuwa district.
